Ekka Simmental Success
Our 2016 show season has come to an end with the conclusion of the Ekka last week, and what a week it was.

These are the major awards we achieved in the ring against one of the largest showing of Simmentals in the last 20 years. What is even more pleasing is that we had three entries in the 20-24 month old bull class, and we had three of the top four animals in a large class. It's this consistency of product that we strive for. To us it not about breeding one good bull it's having a paddock full of them.
JUNIOR AND GRAND CHAMPION BULL:
BILLA PARK POLL LETHAL WEAPON
At only nine months, Lethal Weapon took the top honours. He is one of the first calves sired by Billa Park High Impact (Reserve Senior Bull 2014) and has been marked as our next stud sire.
SENIOR CHAMPION BULL:
BILLA PARK KAKADU K90
At a tick over 21 months Kakadu entered the ring with a weight of 912kg. A free-moving son of Goldrush that has great depth and length of body with sire presence. "A no-holes bull" as commented by judge Andrew Raff.
