The quest for the ultimate sires

Scott and Claire have travelled over several thousand kilometres in the past month in a quest to secure Billa Park's next stud sires.

Breeding over 100 bulls every year, selecting a dynamic, high-performing, commercially-relevant and exceptional-finishing sire is essential in the decision-making process and our highest priority. It is not a decision we take lightly and will undertake as many inspections as needed to find 'the one'!

So it was with great pleasure that we were able to secure two fantastic new stud sires in 2016 who we believe will fit the bill perfectly, enhance our existing high-quality sire battery, and complement Billa Park's wonderful and proven female base.

Thank-you to the team at both Woonallee Simmentals and Wormbete Simmentals for your hospitality and this exciting opportunity!

Woonallee Kansas (P) is an exciting young prospect at 18 months of age, with amazing depth and volume, softness and coverage, wonderful mobility and temperament. We have an especially exciting vision of his future progeny and how fitting his application will be in our herd.

Wormbete Kent K22 (P) is a tremendous powerhouse of a young sire who displays a faultless structure, smooth skin, length, and that unmistakable sire outlook and appeal.
